ATWT is excited to announce that our Managing Partner, Anthony Tong, has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Copyright Tribunal with effect from 1 December 2011 by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. According to section 169(2)(a) of the Copyright Ordinance, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman must be qualified for appointment as a District Judge under the District Court Ordinance (Cap. 336).

The appointment is a recognition of Anthony and the firm’s expertise in the area of intellectual property and our contribution and devotion to this area of law.
